The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Raleigh has had the privilege and honor of having the annual Raleigh Greek Festival at the NC State Fairgrounds over so many years. We greatly appreciate what that has enabled us to do with our ministries, to bring about community engagement, to include local and regional marketplace vendors and suppliers, and to promote and showcase our Orthodox Christian faith, as well as our traditions and culture.
After very careful, and thoughtful discussions and prayers with our festival leaders, our Parish Council, and through the spiritual leadership of Father Paul, we have decided to begin transitioning the Raleigh Greek Festival from the fairgrounds back to the church on Lead Mine Road in Raleigh.
This new beginning is certainly a big change, but we feel that now as our parish community has grown, and that our capital campaign has enabled us to prepare to build a new sanctuary and to expand our property, the timing is right.
For 2026, our festival will be a much smaller event, with limited food and drink offerings, but still having the favorites. We’re still in the planning and logistics phase, so please keep an eye on our website for updates as soon as we have them.
As a reminder, and to also promote other major events at our church, our Ladies Philoptochos Society and our Sir Walter Raleigh AHEPA Chapter 10 are having an event in December that will offer the pastries and food items so many in the Triangle area have come to enjoy.
Please stay tuned for more details and updates through this site, and as always, thank you for your continued support throughout the years, and we look forward to continuing to serve the community as we change.
